National telco cable search

The national telco cable search identifies if copper or optic fibre telecommunication cables run under a property. If underground cables pass through a property’s boundaries, serious problems can occur if damaged.

The search is available Australia-wide and identifies telecommunication cables from all known carriers such as Telstra, Optus , TPG Telecom, and other providers. The search result, which Telco Searches produces, will only be as accurate as the information the relevant companies/providers keep.

The location of power cables aren’t in the search result. Complete an independent search to identify their location.

  • agents and potential property buyers and owners
  • residential and commercial property valuers
  • property advisers
  • property lawyers
  • property developers
  • those approving bank loans for property within the finance lending sectors.

Wouldn’t a title search identify if any easements are on a property?

Easements aren’t required for teleco cables, so they won’t appear on a title search.
