What information will I get from a Plan Details Search?

The Plan Details search returns information about a plan including the lodgement details, hundred, locality, local government authority, title reference and milestone dates such as deposit and approval.

Can I request information about the previous location of a plan?

Previous locations and arrival dates for the subject plan can be requested using the comments field on your order screen.


What search criteria should I use for the best results?

You must enter either the full title reference (prefix, volume, folio) or the plan (type, number) or a document number. Click here for a list of valid prefixes. Some title references and document numbers may not correspond to an existing plan - if this is the case you will be contacted by one of our operators to discuss alternatives.


Will I be charged if there are no results found?

Yes, you will be charged. Refunds will not be given for manual document ordering searches, as these search requests are fulfilled by our search team. A "no result" is considered a result and is therefore chargeable.


How will I receive my results?

Your search results will be emailed to you.
