VIC Magistrates Court eFilingCITEC Confirm eLearning

The VIC Magistrates' Court eFiling application allows legal practitioners to electronically lodge complaints, Default Order Requests (DOR), Warrants to Seize Property (WSI) and Summons for Oral Examination (SOE) with all Magistrates' Courts throughout Victoria.

VIC Magistrates' Court Document Lodgement is a restricted system for clients registered with the Victorian Department of Justice as EDI users. Legal practitioners who wish to apply for eFiling access via CITEC Confirm should complete and return the EDI user agreement.

Due to legislative and security requirements, access to client reference guides, interactive demonstrations and result samples for these products has been restricted. Clients who have authorised access to these products may request electronic training and educational materials by contacting CITEC Confirm Customer Service.

Complaint

Complaints can be lodged online by the Plaintiff's representative and if successful, will be returned as a PDF the following business day. Both liquidated and non-liquidated claims can be filed via eFiling.

Default Order

A default order can be eFiled as long as the original complaint was eFiled through CITEC Confirm and 21 days have elapsed since the initial complaint was served.

Warrant to Seize Property

A warrant to seize property can be eFilied as long as the original complaint was eFiled through CITEC Confirm.

Summons for Oral Examination

A summons for oral examination can be eFiled as long as the original complaint was eFiled through CITEC Confirm.
